How Do I make an appointment?

If you want to claim a medicare rebate for your appointment you will need a valid referral from either an optometrist or a medical doctor. Referrals from GPs and optometrists generally last for 1 year from when they are first used.


do you bulk bill?

No. We are a privately billing clinic, however we do provide discounts for pensioners. Please contact us for specific costs of consultations and procedures.

We do provide "no gap" surgery for patients who have private health insurance.


can you assess my macula?

Yes. We can provide a clinical assessment  as well as an OCT scan and an OCT Angiogram to fully assess the health of your macula.

Please ask for more information during your consultation. 


what is a cataract?

A cataract is the term given to the natural lens inside the eye when it becomes cloudy and interferes with vision. Please see the "Eye Diseases" section for an in depth explanation.

We can tell you during the consultation whether you have any cataract and approximately how long it will be before the cataract interferes with your vision.
